Prime Label Group, a leading label manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced the acquisition of Arti-Bau, a Poland-based digital label converter specializing in inkjet-printed self-adhesive labels.

Founded in 2012, Arti-Bau has evolved from a local operation into a prominent player in the Polish packaging market. Known for its focus on innovation and flexibility, the company has addressed growing demand for personalized products and short-run capabilities. Among its technological milestones, Arti-Bau claims to have launched the first hybrid label printing press in Europe — enhancing its ability to efficiently produce low-volume jobs.

The company is actively expanding its footprint across Polish- and German-speaking regions, leveraging its expertise in digital production to attract new customers.

“Joining a dynamic, European-scale group like Prime Label opens new perspectives for us,” says Monika Stefańska, president of Arti-Bau’s management board. “Prime Label, like us, focuses on people and their advancement—they are the reason we are growing faster than our competitors.”

The acquisition strengthens Prime Label Group’s digital print capabilities and reinforces its broader growth strategy.

“Since 2019, we have been steadily building our position as a leading label manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe, offering digital, offset, and flexo technologies,” says Arkadiusz Sapiecha, CEO of Prime Label Group. “2024 was a breakthrough year — our sales exceeded €100 million, placing us among the largest label manufacturers in Europe.”

Prime Label operates under the umbrella of Innova Capital, a private equity fund, which has now supported eight acquisitions for the group. Through this M&A-driven growth strategy, Prime Label has expanded its customer base and service reach across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Scandinavia.

This latest deal underscores the group’s commitment to strengthening its position as a full-spectrum label solutions provider across Europe.
